John H. Ginsberg

John Ginsberg’s practice focuses on litigation and compliance matters for the firm’s employee benefit fund clients, including pension funds and health and welfare funds.  Prior to joining Slevin & Hart, Mr. Ginsberg managed the multiemployer-plan practice in the Office of the General Counsel at the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC). He advised PBGC on implementation of the special financial assistance program for multiemployer plans. He also advised and represented PBGC on single-employer plans. He successfully represented PBGC in large corporate bankruptcies and in high-stakes litigation and appeals.

Mr. Ginsberg spent the first several years of his career practicing corporate bankruptcy law at a large international firm headquartered in New York. He also worked in the Environmental Enforcement Section at the Department of Justice and in the chambers of United States District Judge Ricardo M. Urbina.

Mr. Ginsberg received his law degree with honors from the Georgetown University Law Center.

Mr. Ginsberg is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia.
