Adam Boston’s practice focuses on compliance matters related to the firm’s employee benefit fund clients, including pension funds and health and welfare funds. Adam has more than 20 years of experience assisting employee benefit plans in navigating the complex legal, regulatory, and day-to-day challenges that come with ERISA and related laws.
Prior to joining the firm, Adam served as the Chief Legal Officer and Chief Privacy Officer for a large, international pension and annuity fund. In that role, Adam’s practice involved oversight of legal strategy and governance for the fund. He also led litigation efforts, negotiated contracts, and ran the organization’s multimillion dollar audit, delinquency, and withdrawal liability collection programs. Earlier in his career, Adam was a Stockholder at a mid-sized New England law firm, where he advised Trustees of both multiemployer and single-employer benefit plans.
Mr. Boston received his J.D. from Western New England Law Center, Springfield, MA in 2004 where he was the recipient of the C.A.L.I Award, Federal Income Taxation I, and was an ABA Tax Challenge National Semi-Finalist.
Mr. Boston earned his LL.M in Taxation, Employee Benefits Certificate (ERISA) from Georgetown University Law Center in 2005.
Mr. Boston received his B.A. (with honors) in Political Science/International Relations from Queen’s University, Kingston, ON, Canada in 2001.
Mr. Boston is admitted to practice in Connecticut and the United States District Court – District of Connecticut.
