Hillary C. Webb
Hillary Webb handles a wide variety of employee benefits matters on behalf of the firm’s benefit plan clients.
Since joining the firm, Ms. Webb has been involved in litigation and transactional matters for both retirement and welfare funds. Recently, these projects have included responding to employer questions regarding withdrawal liability determinations, managing the due diligence and legal compliance processes of a health plan merger, reviewing financial investment documents for health and pension plan clients, filing tax documents for tax-exempt retirement plans, and advising clients on issues related to plan compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, and the Affordable Care Act.
Ms. Webb also routinely reviews qualified domestic relations orders (QDROs) and qualified medical child support orders (QMCSOs).
Ms. Webb received her J.D., with honors, from The George Washington University Law School. She served as the Senior Executive Editor of The George Washington Law Review, Vol. 85, which published her note on the First Amendment implications of regulating internet service providers. She earned her undergraduate degree from Denison University with a B.A. in Political Science. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Webb worked as a law clerk at a D.C. firm representing labor unions and served as a Peggy Browning Fellow for the National Employment Lawyers Association.
