Recent Legal Developments

• Family and Medical Leave Act amendments under the National Defense Authorization Act of 2008
• Reporting obligations of group health plans regarding Medicare eligibility under the Medicare, Medicaid and SCHIP
• Extension Act Heroes Earnings Assistance and Relief Tax Act (HEART Act) of 2008
• Pension Protection Act of 2006. We continue to advise clients on implementation issues as various provisions of the PPA become effective.
