Marc H. RifkindPrincipalMarc Rifkind’s work spans the range of the firm’s ERISA and Internal Revenue Code practice on behalf of employee benefit funds. Mr. Rifkind is involved in the day-to-day counseling of pension, health and welfare, training and vacation funds, as well as scholarship funds and foundations. Mr. Rifkind supervises delinquency collection programs for the national plans that he represents. Mr. Rifkind has more than 20 years of experience litigating ERISA cases, spanning a broad range of issues. He has litigated before all levels of federal courts, the National Labor Relations Board and other federal agencies. Mr. Rifkind graduated summa cum laude with highest honors from Boston University and graduated from the University of Michigan Law School. He is a co-author of the Fiduciary Responsibility chapter in the ABA Section of Labor and Employment Law’s treatise, Employee Benefits Law. He is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and Pennsylvania. He is admitted to practice before a number of United States District Courts and Courts of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court. |
